Welcome Giselle Moreno, LAc, (she/her)
My love of acupuncture started after receiving my first treatment at the Berkeley Acupuncture Project in 2014. Experiencing the healing magic of acupuncture, especially within the community setting, lit a spark in me that flickered until I decided to apply to Chinese medicine and acupuncture school in 2019. After living in Boston, Portland (OR), and traveling abroad, I landed back in my hometown of Oakland to study this beautiful medicine. This medicine allowed me to connect the dots and bring words to how I had always viewed the world and the relationships within it. The relationships between our bodies, our spirits, our emotions, mother nature and her seasonal shifts are all a part of acupuncture. My goal in all treatments is to help remind your body of its innate balanced state of harmony. When I’m not in the treatment room you can find me on an adventure with my pup Rue, chasing hot springs or a river spot, getting down on the dance floor, and spending time with my friends & family.
